Are Cats As Smart As Elephants?

Five years ago we quit using an electric can opener because it brought our cats to the kitchen in droves. We now use a hand crank one. The other day, I was testing our 2 electric ones to see if they worked so I could donate them. I no sooner turned one on when my very intelligent kitty Klonnie came running to the kitchen from another room. 5 years and a different house later!. Klonnie has the memory of an elephant.
